Rosemont's Parkway Bank Park entertainment district continues their 2018 summer "Friday Night Concerts" series on August 31 with performances by Super Diamond and Sushi Roll. Don’t miss this free event!
Super Diamond delivers a smoke-filled show performing Neil Diamond's power ballads and up-tempo hits with unrestrained enthusiasm. The group sticks to the pre- '82 Diamond tunes that lend themselves to dancing and singing with such songs as Cracklin' Rosie, Sweet Caroline, Forever in Blue Jeans and many more. Super Diamond’s success in America is unprecedented for a tribute band. With a nod from Neil (the man himself), Super Diamond has been embraced by the long time Neil Diamond fan-base and also found huge popularity in the hip rock clubs of America.
Formed in 2012, Sushi Roll is known for high-energy dance music topped off with memorable stage costumes. Founded by music industry vets and fronted by two of the most mesmerizing young lead singers in Chicago, they easily transition between revved-up versions of your favorite pop and rock hits by artists like Bruno Mars, Rick Springfield, Lady Gaga, Nelly, AC/DC and the Jackson 5.
This concert is a continuation of Friday Night Concerts, a free live music series presented by Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park entertainment district. Wonderful for all ages, these performances offer a great way to enjoy summer nights right here in the community. Outside food and coolers are prohibited. Parking is available at the Parkway Bank Park parking garage and is free with validation from any of the park’s venues.
